The Knöspele is something special. The family-run farm with distillery and gourmet apartments is located in the sunny district of Kranebitt, surrounded by its own orchards and vineyards.
Martin Rastner use the fruits that grow there to produce his fine,aromatic spirits.

Knöspele’s distillery
Our distillery produces award-winning spirits. Martin Rastner loves to experiment with new flavours: “I’m fascinated by the creative process of distilling”.
From the field to the glass
We use the grapes, apples, pears and apricots from our vineyards and fruit orchards to produce spirits, liqueurs and fruit juices, as well as our own wines.

Your hosts
Three generations, one passion. Martin Rastner loves to grow fruit and turn it into high-quality spirits. His wife Barbara supports him as well as their children Michael, Hannah and Julian, marketing the products and looking after guests staying at Knöspele. Their son Michael is following in his father’s footsteps, spending many hours with him in the distillery and in the fields.
